The messaging app presents an explosive novelty: this time you can fix it if you’re wrong, Zuckerberg sends the announcement on his Facebook profile.
WhatsApp It continues to be updated, and this time we will find the news on our devices in a few days. The short term, a real surprise for users, but thanks to the new option, many will find benefits in love and friendship relationships.
This is because it often happens that when typing in a hurry, misunderstandings can arise, words changed by the automatic t9 that also change the meaning of the sentence itself. In these cases, the situation can develop into two different outcomes: on the one hand, a discussion about the misunderstanding can arise, on the other, one can laugh about it.
There are relationships that are closed forever just because of a few wrong phrases on WhatsApp, or situations that have never occurred precisely because of a nonsense made with a wrong message. In this sense, Zuckerberg wanted to implement a function capable of eliminating the root of the problem.
WhatsApp, the function will come into play next week: you will be able to correct messages
This is an option that will come into action from next week for all users around the world. WhatsApp will allow you to edit the sent message even after it has been forwarded and received. In fact, discussions often start also due to the fact that a user deletes the message in the chat before seeing it, maybe he has a second thought about what he wrote. In this sense, the other person could become suspicious and create tension.
Changing the message instead could also be a solution to this variable. You will be able to edit the message without undoing the sending and the other user will no longer be able to see the previous version but only the modified one.
The limits of the novelty launched by Zuckerberg
The change will be limited to the first 15 minutes after sendingbut it can also be useful when the person has already seen the message, in this way it will be possible to make it clear that you have made a typing error. The problem is that Zuckerberg preferred to notify the message change, so when the phrase is changed, at the same time you can be updated about the change in the chat thanks to a symbol that will be placed next to the message.
Despite the limitations, it will continue to be a novelty well regarded by users. “Once I wrote ‘my condoms’ instead of condolences in a family group,” says a user from the United Kingdom on Facebook, being very enthusiastic about this initiative by the owner of Meta, ironically recalling the embarrassing fool.
