They published some hot videos (naturally false) that represents Giorgia Meloni. The prime minister has denounced them and demands a compensation equal to 100 thousand eurosthat will be entered into the national fund of the Ministry of the Interior to support women victims of violence.

The prime minister has surrendered civil part. The events date back to 2020but the trial will begin in spring 2024. The videos were posted on a US red light site.
The two are accused of having put Meloni’s face instead of some hardcore actresses.
The indictment claims that the Prime Minister “was portrayed with the naked intention of having sexual relations with several men, as well as engaging in autoerotic behavior, in some cases accompanied by highly defamatory writings.”
The prime minister is a civil party.
“The request is intended to be a message addressed to all women victims of this type of abuse so that they are not afraid to report,” explains the plaintiff’s lawyer, Maria Giulia Marongiu, who protects Giorgia Meloni.
“The figure is symbolic and aims to contribute to the protection of the victims, women who, often without knowing it, are targets of this type of crime.”
Two different processes
The two Sassari defendants, aged 73 and 40, called to trial by prosecutor Maria Paola Asara, will be tried with two different rites.
His defense requested the released on parole for his father. Judge Paolo Bulla will announce his decision on March 25.
He son will be judged in his place with ordinary rite. The hearing for him will open on March 19 before Judge Monia Adami.
According to investigations by the Sassari postal police, the 40-year-old man would be the material author of the deepfake videos, while his father would be the owner of the telephone line used to upload the videos to the Internet.
Postal police managed to track the two thanks to the nickname used on the adult site.
The videos remained online for several months and garnered millions of views.
Second defamation trial of 2023
This is the second defamation trial to be held in 2023 and in which Giorgia Meloni is the injured party: recently the writer Roberto Saviano was sentenced to pay 1,000 euros in compensation for having insulted the prime minister.
