The request of the Italian authorities to deliver Filippo Turetta to our country was transmitted to Germany. Although the Italian request has not yet reached Germany, the competent prosecutor’s office, that of Naumburg, expects that Filippo Turetta will be handed over to Italy “in a few days.”
Regarding Filippo Turetta “there is a danger that he will repeat violent behavior towards other women”. In fact, there are suitable elements “to support a judgment of extreme danger, which generates alarm, given that femicides are the order of the day.” This is clear from the preventive detention order of the investigating judge of Venice, dated November 20, which is now added to the other investigation files sent to the Ministry of Justice and which, once translated, will be sent to the German authorities, who have Custody of Felipe. For the judge, the young man’s “unheard-of ferocity” demonstrates his “total inability to control himself.”
The dynamics of the murder.
The two attacks that caused the death of Giulia Cecchettin at the hands of Filippo Turetta, between the girl’s house and the industrial area of Fossò (Venice), occurred in approximately 22 minutes, between 11:18 p.m. and 11:40 p.m. on November 11 . . The reconstruction is contained in the precautionary custody order of the investigating judge of Venice issued yesterday and transmitted on the occasion of the issuance of the European arrest warrant against Turetta, for the crimes of murder aggravated by an emotional relationship and kidnapping. The first episode is reconstructed from a witness’s account, the second from surveillance cameras in the area.
According to the chronological reconstruction carried out by the Prosecutor’s Office, it was at 11:18 p.m. when the witness reported the attack on Via Aldo Moro, about 150 meters from the Cecchettin house. A female voice screams “you’re hurting me like this” repeatedly asking for help; then the witness sees “a figure that was on the ground being violently beaten” and then the Point walking away.
It was here that traces of blood and a 21 centimeter kitchen knife, without a handle, were found, along with a shoe print, probably stained with blood.
From the cameras in Fossò, about 6 kilometers from Vigonovo, it was learned that Giulia, injured but not seriously, managed to escape and was chased by Filippo, who threw her to the ground, she fell to the pavement and did not move again. The attacker moves it, then goes to get the car, probably puts it in the back seat and runs away. Blood was then found on the sidewalk, hair on the side of the road and a piece of silver cloth tape soaked in blood and hair “probably applied to the victim to prevent him from speaking,” the judge writes.
Also in this case, a blood-stained shoe print was found, which turned out to be compatible with the one in the Vigonovo parking lot. It was 11:40 p.m.; At 11:50 p.m., Punto Nera left the area, then it was seen in several points in the provinces of Venice and Treviso. The last shot will take place on November 12 at 9:07 a.m., from Cortina towards Dobbiaco.
Giulia Cecchettin was murdered by “attacking her with multiple shots with a knife”, then “throwing her to the ground”, then “loading her into the car” and finally “abandoning her in an isolated place”.. The sequence of episodes was reconstructed by the investigating judge of Venice, in order of preventive detention, for the crime of voluntary manslaughter.
The aggravating factor is highlighted by the judge because the crime is committed “against a person linked to the guilty party by an emotional relationship”, even if it has ended.
Finally, the crime of kidnapping is challenged on the basis that Giulia was held at Black Point “against her will for an appreciable period of time.”
