PALERMO – Palermo FC launches the new edition of Short Master in “Sports Management”, the study course created with the didactic-scientific collaboration of the University of Palermo, which aims to train new professionals in the sports industry or improve skills already acquired with a managerial perspective in the sports field.
The course, with a duration of three months, has limited places, will begin in September 2023 and is divided into eight lessons of eight hours each. Goes from sports marketing and the sports communication down to the basics of law and finance linked to football clubs, through the contributions of some of the most expert coaches and managers in the Italian and international sports sector.
THE COURSE
Thanks to the contribution of high level speakers and university professors, enrolled students will have the opportunity to acquire transversal skills in all the disciplines of the curriculum, through a theoretical approach -essential to understand the dynamics of each macro-area- but also and above all through studies of cases and practical applications, which realize the complex work carried out by professionals in the sector.
At the end of each teaching (area by area) a work project based on real or plausible cases, which will be evaluated by a special commission: the most interesting ones will also be taken into consideration for any club development initiative.
The course is open to all those who are in possession of the baccalaureate degree and will be developed in ‘face-to-face’ mode. at the Renzo Barberá stadiumor (upon express request) remotely by videoconference, with the possibility for all subscribers to listen to or view the meeting for the first time even within 24 hours after the live broadcast.
The route will also allow all candidates to access a internship of at least two months within Palermo FC, with the opportunity to have a first experience in the field and put into practice the notions acquired and examined during the degree.
For students enrolled at the University of Palermo there is one special rate with a 10% discount on the registration price.
