NAPLES (ITALPRESS) – Napoli continues its long Scudetto celebration in the best possible way by beating an Inter 3-1 at home that rested more than one starter. They are Anguissa, captain Di Lorenzo’s pearl in the final and Gaetano’s first goal in the league to give the Azzurri victory, who remained in numerical superiority for a good part of the game due to the expulsion of Gagliardini. The new Italian champions got off to a better start and in the 17th minute almost went ahead with Anguissa, who with a poisoned left foot shot wide of a moustache. In minute 23, the referee thanks Gagliardini who, already booked, commits a late foul on Kvaratskhelia from behind. However, the former Atalanta midfielder did it again in the 41st minute, when he carried out a naive operation on Anguissa’s foot, receiving the second yellow card and thus ending their match well in advance. The first half ends goalless. The first chance of the second half was still for the Neapolitans, with a surprise shot from Di Lorenzo after a penalty corner but Onana was careful and deflected. The Cameroonian goalkeeper did it again in the 21st minute, when he saved a diving right hand from Kvaratskhelia. However, the Nerazzurri defense had to capitulate a minute later. Zielinski serves Anguissa in the area, who moves the ball down the right in a fraction of a second and pierces his compatriot with an accurate shot, making it 1-0. Newcomer Raspadori came close to doubling the lead in the 32nd minute, when he received a tempting ball in the box from Lobotka, but he opened the ball wide in an attempt to rule Onana out. A minute later, Marinelli annulled Simeone’s 2-0 lead due to an alleged foul committed by Zielinski on D’Ambrosio at the time of the assist that, however, seemed not to come. The bells seem to mark, but in minute 37 the cold shower arrives. Dimarco crosses from the left, Juan Jesús falls asleep and Lukaku takes advantage of it with a closed claw that beats Meret by two steps. However, Spalletti’s men did not give up and found it 2-1 after 40′. Di Lorenzo receives the ball from the front and guesses a left-footed shot with a millimeter twist that comes out from below the high angle with Onana immobile. In full recovery, a counterattack well orchestrated by Simeone was finished off by Gaetano to make it 3-1, who definitively closed the scores with his right foot. Napoli thus rises to 86 points, Inter remains third with 66 points but only two points ahead of the fifth position occupied by Milan.
