They accompanied them to the police station. and they have them Forced to confess the crimes committed. During the last months. Not only those that were being investigated, thanks to the complaint of one of the victims, but also the crimes that had not been discovered. A small, big turning point, before the judge of the Juvenile Court, who rewards the example offered by the parents of three young people investigated for armed robberies. A case that culminated last Sunday with the raid by the Casoria police, who notified the three minors of a confinement order in their homes for three minors considered responsible for robberies committed against some of their classmates. But the novelty is in the attitude of the parents of the three baby thieves, who forced their children to surrender to the police. Therefore: they did not hinder the investigations, they did not try to erase the evidence, as usually happens in contexts of very young people who face accusations by the judiciary, but they demanded that their children make a full confession of their misdeeds.
It was the investigating judge Angela Draetta who valued the work of the soldiers of the force, but also and above all highlighted the example offered by the parents of the three young criminals. Judge Draetta writes, in ordering the obligation to stay at home (and not detentions in cells): “An appropriate measure to guarantee the needs of precaution, given that the respective families have revealed the ability to regain authority and guidance educational by inducing children to become themselves, so they may be able to contain them properly. At the same time, the limited possibility of movement imposed by precaution will help prevent new uncontrolled criminal projects.” With the same provision, the judge establishes that the three minors will only be able to leave home to attend school classes, obviously while waiting for the conclusion of the trial.
A case more unique than rare, the one that occurred on the outskirts of Naples. We are in Casoria, an area stalked by a gang of three minors, who have been performing on several occasions since last fall. We are talking about GP, born in 2008, CB, born in 2009, and KF born in 2009. They act as a group and always display the same modus operandi. They are armed with knivesThey point to their companions.
A story that marks a turning point, thanks to police investigations, which exploit a frame of images of the video surveillance system which frames a robbery committed on October 12, 2023, complete with the license plate of the vehicle used by the trio. Then comes the brave testimony of a child, one of the group’s young victims. In summary, the story of the attack suffered by the young man ends in the documents, which provide some elements that allow the three criminal babies to be identified. But the real leap forward occurs when the three young thieves are accompanied to the police station by their mother and father. They are forced to hand over their dolls and confess. And it is clear that this is not an instrumental measure, whose sole objective is to avoid prison. In fact, the three minors relate some unpublished aspects, which were not part of the initial investigations. They talk about the attack on another boyfriend, but also about two girls who were robbed. And they reveal unknown details, thanks to the assumption of responsibility (obviously on a moral and educational level) by their respective parents. Enough to push the prosecution and the judge of Colli Aminei to remodel their reasoning on precautionary needs. It is advisable not to feed the feeling of impunity – we read in the provision – but it is also a duty to collect and enhance the example offered by parents. We are talking about people who return to regain their authority, offering themselves as an example, as a guide to their own children. Therefore, there is no prison, but an obligation to stay at home. Neither Nisida, nor “out to sea”, but house arrest, the only time out to school: all day in the presence of his model parents.
