It took place in the boardroom of the department of Political Sciences of the University of Naples “Frederick II” the presentation conference of the new 1st level Master in Sports Management. The Master in Sports Management provides a career capable of responding to the many critical problems in the sector, often determined by inadequate knowledge of the legal framework in which it is necessary to operate.

Our initiative represents a great opportunity for young people from all over Italy, especially those from central-southern Italy, who want to face the complexities of managing in the sports field by figures (1,250 euros for 18 months of training) compatible with the economic situation of this historical period”.

The need for training arises from the need to cover the professional gaps registered in recent years. The reconciliation of sport with the rules of legality of other economic sectors requires in fact an important qualification of the managerial figures”, points out the professor Astolfo Di Amato.
With the title achieved, the new sports director will be able to operate as free spear either employee in: federations, leagues, associations and sports clubs; management company of sports facilities and centers; agencies and companies organizing events; consulting companies operating in the sports field; sports sponsoring agencies; territorial or sectoral business associations; University of Naples Federico II, tourist-sports service companies.
The Master is also designed to give a new and better professional qualification to people who already work in companies or public/private organizations belonging to the world of sport. «Starting from the history of sports institutions and the analysis of the current national system, the Master addresses, with a section dedicated to related taxation, the issue of sustainability and the circular economy in sports law, and explores compliance issues sports and organization, management and control systems – stresses the professor Luis Ferrajoli – The analysis of the international elements of the sports business and the development of e-sports is associated with the aforementioned analyses, also in a comparative key with respect to other European legal systems.
