The Eurmoda group of Pederobba (TV), one of the main Italian players in the production and supply of accessories for haute couture brands and a subsidiary of Mindful Capital Partners, announces the acquisition of 100% of Macuz, a historic Tuscan company active in the production of very high quality metal accessories for fashion and luxury brands, founded in Florence in 1952 by Marcello and Alma Macuz and today directed as CEO by their son Auro.
Created in Veneto in 1986, Eurmoda was born from the desire to synergistically combine the skills of companies that produce accessories for haute couture with the mechanical and technological skills derived from eyewear in the Belluno district and goldsmithing in the Vicenza district. A path that had as its fundamental stages the acquisition of Alce Srl, in Valsamoggia (BO), and ABC Morini Srl, in Scandicci (FI). Thanks to the support of MCP and the reinvestment in its growth, Eurmoda has managed to consolidate relationships with the main luxury brands and today is active in Veneto, Emilia-Romagna and Tuscany, under the leadership of CEO Marco Vecellio.
Reinforced with the new acquisition, Eurmoda, which currently produces metal buckles and accessories for leather goods, glasses and footwear, aims to reach 100 million euros in turnover and further consolidate its structure: as of January 1, 2024, in fact, The Margot and ABC Morini holding company will merge with Eurmoda, which will thus lead the group producing accessories for haute couture, with factories in Treviso, Bologna and Belluno.
The production center thus created will continue its path of growth, investing in people, focusing in particular on female participation at any level of seniority, and on the environment, for example through the use of continuous recirculation systems, photovoltaic panels and solutions for air purification. and heat recovery, explains a press release.
Eurmoda also reports that the acquisition will enrich its customer base and strengthen an already complete structure of technologies, skills and factories, which offers the full range of materials required by the haute couture segment, through a vertical service and supply chain. fully integrated supply. The Macuz family will reinvest in the group and will continue to actively participate in the operational management of the companies.
“Macuz represents one of the best expressions of Italian know-how in the field of excellent fashion,” declared Marco Vecellio, CEO of Eurmoda. “A company that was one of the pioneers in the development of the Italian productive sector in the luxury sector.” According to the manager, the operation “aims to distribute value throughout the entire supply chain, with a view to virtuous and sustainable growth, in absolute harmony with the sensitivity of the main client brands.”
