05/27/2023 – Marches and haute couture, a pairing with deep roots that deserves to be valued.
With these premises, the first edition of Fly Marche was born, a glamorous showcase to promote the high fashion of the Marches as a tourist flyer. A true fashionable kermesse together with a market fair of food, wine and crafts from the Marche region that will take place from June 1 to 4 in Castelraimondo, in the two adjacent structures of the Lanciano Forum and the Borgo Lanciano Resort.
In these four days (ribbon cutting on Thursday at 11 in the presence of institutions and authorities) the “Made in Marche” brand will stand out by dealing with current issues of great interest such as innovation, sustainability and inclusion in fashion. Industry connoisseurs, enthusiasts and the most curious will be able to discover the uniqueness of the highly rated excellent production “Made in Marche”, thanks to the exhibition organized at the location of the Lanciano Forum. The mastery of Marche artisans will be revealed, who have been able to introduce innovative and sustainable techniques, while maintaining the ancient manufacturing roots that have been passed down from generation to generation. The exhibition spaces of the Lanciano Forum, open four days from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. also to the public, will be divided between the main room dedicated precisely to the Marche fashion exhibition and the secondary room dedicated to food and wine. Important buyers and journalists specialized in the fashion sector will also be present, who will also be invited to visit the area. Of great importance is the key date set for the afternoon of the third day, that of Saturday (June 3), where the two brands Frida Kiza and Gattinoni and the Marche fashion schools will parade in Borgo Lanciano, followed by a gala evening hosted by a Michelin star chef from Marches and finally a DJ set.
To complete the offer of activities, there are also tourist tours open to all, which will allow you to get to know the Marche region, discover the world of food and wine, culture and art; Walking and cycling routes are planned. The event will close on Sunday (June 4), the day on which an important institutional conference on fashion and sustainability issues will be held. The event is supported by the Marche Region, Atim (Marche Internationalization and Tourism Agency), Unione Montana Potenza Esino Musone, the Municipality of Castelraimondo, Marche Outdoor and Contram who will be in charge of transportation.
