Nic Cassino is an American actor who has received many awards in the past. Now, however, he finds himself helpless as time passes inexorably and watches his career decline. Dejected by the lack of commitments, he accepts an invitation from the Giffoni Film Festival, which is planning a retrospective of his career. Italians have always loved his films, and right now, Nic needs to feel loved. The Festival also shows the film by Italian director Fabrizio Favuzzo, who, however, does not have much luck. In fact, even the athletics star has decided to spend time on the Green Island, as a guest of an Italian actress, owner of a splendid mansion. As a result of this fateful encounter, the unusual couple decides to embark on the adventure of making the unfinished film of the Master.
