Work on the Bollate sanitation network will begin on May 31 to adapt it to current needs: Cap will invest a total of 900,000 euros.
A new sewer for Bollate
Important intervention to reinforce and improve the Bollate sewerage network. On May 31, the works of the CAP Group, a green company that deals with the water service of the metropolitan city of Milan, will begin, necessary to modernize the network and adapt it to the needs of the inhabitants of the Municipality, and to ensure that the waters Residuals are correctly sent to the purification plant to guarantee maximum protection of the environment.
This is an important intervention, with an investment of 900,000 euros, which involves deep excavations to lay the new networks and various teams of operators working on the streets of the city. The work will last 7 months, and will alternate in different ways. Already in February small excavations were carried out to take soil samples for analysis in vicolo Cavour.
At the end of May the actual works begin in via Vittorio Veneto, starting from piazza San Francesco. During the works, the road to Senago (northbound) will be closed, while two-way circulation will be established on the other road.
How will the work continue?
The roadmap foresees that during the first three months the work will continue in via Vittorio Veneto, towards the intersection with via Roma and, subsequently, with via Turati, via Parri and via Seveso. In all cases, there will be clear signs regarding the prohibition of parking or alternative routes. Subsequently, and for two months, work will be done to replace the network in Via Turati and it will be necessary to close the circulation route. Therefore, it will be necessary to modify the viability of several neighboring streets, including a section of the route of line 566 (Paderno Dugnano-Milán Roserio). Also in this case, clear signs will be prepared and the Municipality will promptly communicate all changes in the road network.
Finally, the work will move to via Piave, first in the section of via Novate, before the hospital car park, for about 2 weeks, and then towards the hospital itself (6 weeks of work are expected), with the last one in via Bruno . During the entire period in which the work will be located on via Piave, it will be necessary to close the road towards Novate (southbound) and establish two-way traffic on the other road. No parking signs will be posted on the road. In any case, access to the hospital will be guaranteed for both emergency vehicles and users.
Where to find updates
Changes in the road system and detours along alternative routes are clearly communicated through the usual yellow traffic signals and will be updated, following the movement of the work, on the web page dedicated to this intervention:
